  • Online Bingo is a widely popular form of gambling across the world but is the most famous game in UK.
  • Bingo is a popular leisure activity in UK that it gathers around 3 million players each day causing it to generate majority of its earnings from online bingo.

Bingo Games Rules

UK bingo is slightly different from US bingo because of the tickets and the patterns. A typical UK bingo ticket is composed of 27 squares that are arranged in nine columns and three rows with random numbers from 1 to 90. Each of the rows contains five squares with numbers and four squares that are blank. The numbers are arranged according to columns – 1st column may contain numbers from 1 to 10, 2nd column may contain numbers from 11 to 20, and so on until the last column that may contain numbers from 81 to 90. The arrangement may vary depending on the bingo companies, the type of bingo game, and where the game is played, i.e. hall, club, online.

Tickets are produced in strips of six, because it allows every number from 1 to 90 to appear across all six tickets. If a player buys a full strip of six then it means that the player is guaranteed to mark off a number on the ticket every time a number is called.

The winning combinations are:

  • Four corners – the rightmost and leftmost numbers on the top and the bottom lines
  • One Line – all the numbers in a horizontal line are covered on the ticket
  • Two Line – all the numbers in any two lines are covered on the same ticket
  • Full house – all fifteen numbers on the ticket are covered

If more than one player calls ‘bingo’ on the same number, the pot money is split among the players equally.
